How DentalJB sources and reviews information

Clinic listings

Clinic names, addresses, coordinates, phone numbers, Google ratings, Google review counts, opening hours, websites, and photos are sourced from Google Places. The automated sync runs twice monthly. Records outside the supported Johor Bahru and Iskandar Puteri area, or records that do not appear to represent a dental clinic, are excluded from public results.

Ratings and reviews

DentalJB displays the aggregate rating and review count supplied by Google Places. DentalJB does not independently verify every reviewer or clinical outcome. A high rating should be treated as one comparison signal, not proof of registration, specialist status, safety, or treatment quality.

Registration checks

A registration-check label is shown only when DentalJB has supporting registration information recorded for the listing. Patients should still confirm the name of the dentist who will provide treatment and verify that practitioner through the official Malaysian healthcare professional register before proceeding with significant care.

Treatment and language labels

Services may come from clinic-supplied information, public clinic materials, or clearly labeled directory data. A service label does not prove specialist status. Language information is shown only when it has been supplied or reviewed rather than inferred from a clinic name.

Price ranges

Market ranges are indicative editorial comparisons, not guaranteed quotes. DentalJB keeps units separate—for example, per tooth, per session, or a full treatment course—so a deposit or adjustment fee is not presented as the price of complete treatment. Clinic-specific prices are labeled separately and should include a source or review date where available.

Always request a written, like-for-like quote that explains consultations, imaging, materials, laboratory fees, medication, follow-up care, retainers, grafting, and other possible additions.

Distance

Distances from Woodlands CIQ and Tuas Second Link are approximate straight-line distances calculated from coordinates. They are useful for relative comparison but are not driving distance or a travel-time guarantee. Check a live map before travelling.

Ordering and featured listings

Directory results can be affected by selected filters, featured status, Google rating, and distance. Featured placement must not be interpreted as a clinical ranking or verification. Basic clinic listings remain free and are not conditional on purchasing a service from DentalJB.

Corrections

Clinics and readers can request a factual correction. Include the clinic name, branch, affected page, corrected information, and a public or official source where possible. DentalJB may ask for additional evidence before changing registration, practitioner, or price information.
